Configuring the Servicetrace server¶
Running the configuration tool for the Servicetrace server¶
The Servicetrace server (Central Server (APM / TA) or X1 Server (RPA)) must also be configured to enable the components of the Servicetrace Robotic solution to communicate via HTTPS. To do so, use the ServerConfig.exe application from the Tools folder in the installation directory on the server.
Open the directory
<Servicetrace Server installation directory>\Tools
e.g.
C:\Program Files\Servicetrace\X1 Server\Tools
or
C:\Program Files\Servicetrace Central Server\Tools
and start the ServerConfig.exe application.
Configuring the X1 server¶

Select HTTPS, enter the fully qualified domain name of the server, and click the Update button.
If a backup of the previous configuration was created, you must confirm that it can be overwritten.
The X1 Server has now been switched to HTTPS. From this point, you can only reach the web applications via the
https://<fully qualified domain name>/servicetrace/rpa/<web application name>/<view name>.html
path.
Configuring the Central Server¶

Select only HTTPS, enter the fully qualified domain name of the serverand the port, and click the Update button.
If a backup of the previous configuration was created, you must confirm that it can be overwritten.
The Central Server has now been switched to HTTPS. From this point, you can only reach the web applications via the
https://<host name>/servicetrace/rpa/<web application name>/<view name>.html
path.
If you want the Central Server to be available via both HTTP and HTTPS, also select the HTTP checkbox. In this case, the HTTPS binding must not be deleted in the IIS.
Troubleshooting¶
