Import the root certificate into the Windows Keystore

For an X1 Design/Workflow Studio to connect to the server, the root certificate must be imported into the Windows key storage on the computer where the Studio is installed.

Configuring the repository settings

In addition, you have to configure the Studio in the Workflow / X1 Design Studio Repository Settings for communication via HTTPS.

To do so, start X1 Design/Workflow Studio.

If you have already configured the Studio for HTTP, you will see an error message uon startup [...] URI not available: http: [...] . Click OK.

Set the following values under Repository Settings and click OK.

Server address

Enter the fully qualified domain name of the server under * Server Address*.

Use HTTPS

Select the checkbox Use HTTPS

Troubleshooting

If you still receive error messages from the Robot, check under TLS 1.2 is not activated for the .NET Framework and TLS 1.2 is not configured for WinHTTP in the Chapter entitled Troubleshooting.
