Robot Management - Service Times

rpa_robotManagement_ServiceTimes_Overview.png

Service Times are any repeatable time intervals that define when a robot can work.

You can assign multiple Service Times to a robot. If you do not assign any Service Times to a robot, it can work 24/7.

A Service Time is specified in a specific time zone. If the robot is in a different time zone, the time interval is converted accordingly.

Privileges

You need the privilege Servicetime Create to create a service time, the privilege Servicetime Edit to change a service time, and the privilege Servicetime Delete to delete a service time.

Creating a Service Time

button_Create

To create a Service Time, simply click the Create button and fill out the calendar dialog.

Example: Calendar dialog: Service Time on Working Days between 7:00 and 19:00

After saving, you can see the Service Time in the detailed view of any robot and you can assign it to the robot.

The names of the Service Times do not have to be unique. For example, you can assign the same name for a Service Time on working days for the business hours for different time zones.

However, we recommend using different names, or at least different extensions to the same name, to rule out misunderstandings during interpretation of the effective schedule runtimes.

Edit

Clicking the Edit icon opens the detailed view of the Service Time. You can change all entries.

If a changed Service Time is already used by a Robot, it is updated automatically there.

Remove

Clicking the Remove icon deletes the Service Time.

The deleted service time is also deleted from the Service Times of a Robot.

If the deleted Service Time is the only one that was used by a Robot, the Robot uses the default Service Time (24/7).

Usage

Clicking the Usage icon opens a table that displays all Robots that use this Service Time.
