User Management - Overview

In the User Management module, you can manage the users of the X1 Server and of the X1 Design Studio.

A User contains contact data such as name, time zone, and e-mail address. The user has rights that enable access (Privileges) to specific applications and their contents, and editing (Team Member Authorization) of a project in various phases. A user can have a license for the X1 Design Studio if the X1 Server is operated under module-based licensing.

The user data can then be maintained directly in the X1 Server or in a connected Microsoft Active Directory.

You can also assign Roles to a user and the roles contain all the privileges that are required for the roles. Some important roles are already preconfigured, but you can also define your own roles.

The texts of all modules are displayed in the language of the active user.
