Robot Management - Getting Started¶
Install¶
Create a Robot API Key for each robot before you install the robots.
After successful installation, the robots log into the X1 Server automatically.
Assign Service Times¶
If a Robot should only be available to execute processes at certain times, first create the corresponding Service Times.
You can then use the function Robot Management > Robots: Edit [Robot Data Sheet] to assign any number of service times to each individual Robot.
Assign Applications¶
Open the application Process Automation > Applications and enter all the applications that the robots can access. Then assign these applications to the robots by clicking on the Edit button and then clicking on the relevant installations under Available Applications.
License¶
After the installation of all robots, first open the Robot Management > Robots application. There, you can use the Licensing button to assign to each robot a Robot license and multiple Secure-Session licenses.
Deploy robots¶
Now you can begin. The robots that are suitable for the Process will now be displayed in Process Management as soon as there are projects in the Test or Production phases.
Monitor robots¶
In the Robot State and Operation view, you can see what the robots are currently doing.
In the Process Run Statistics view, you can see the results of the processes that the robots have already carried out.
