Process Operation - Upcoming Process Changes¶

In the Upcoming Process Changes view, you can see all process elements that reference activities from the Activity Library, which have been changed since the last deployment of a Process that contains these activities.
The Activity Library is managed in the X1 Design Studio. Read the X1 Design Studio Manual to obtain more detailed information on the referencing of activities.
Privileges of the Upcoming Process Changes view.¶
To open the Upcoming Process Changes view, you require the privilege Upcoming Process Changes Open.
Then you can see all processes that are in the Test or Production phases, and for which you are either the Project Owner or you have authorization to edit the project in the Test or Build phases.
To see all changes, you also require the privilege Upcoming Process Changes Administration.
Display of the number of pending process changes¶

As soon as you reload a view of the X1 Server, the current number of Upcoming Process Changes is displayed next to the designations
- Process Operations and
- Upcoming Process Changes
.
This is the number of BPMN elements that reference the changed activity. It can therefore be larger than the number of changed activities.
The number of changed activities includes only elements from processes that are in the Test or Production phases, and for which you are either the Project Owner or you have authorization to edit the project in the Test or Build phases.

On the left, you can see the structure of the workflow of the revision that is currently deployed.
On the right, you can see the structure of the workflow of the newest revision.
With a deployment, the revision currently in use is always replaced by the latest revision.
Reset to a previous revision
If, after testing, you wish to reset the revision to an older version, you can do this in the Activity Library of the X1 Design Studio.

Open the Changelog of the Activity in the Activity Library, select the required revision, click on Edit, and upload this revision again. This then becomes the latest revision and can be deployed in the X1 Server.
You can find a detailed description of this in the X1 Design Studio Manual.
Deploy¶

The latest revision of an activity can only be deployed with projects that are in the Test phase.
If necessary, reset the project back to the test phase and test the deployment of the latest revision there before you execute the project productively again.
To update the activities in the selected process elements to the latest revision, click on the button Deploy.
With a deployment, the revision currently in use is always replaced by the latest revision.
