Process Automation - Overview

Process Automation is the main module used for automation of processes.

It offers tools for the evaluation and prioritization of processes (Process Evaluation), for delegation of the implementation of process automation (Process Backlog), for administration of process automation (Process Management), and for definition of additional framework conditions of a Process (Process Applications, Global Variables).

The processes go through several phases in sequence.

To begin with, the Process is carried out and analyzed by an employee. In the Design phase, a model of the Process is created using BPMN, and during the Build phase in the X1 Design Studio, this is filled with concrete instructions for the X1 Bot. In the Test phase, a check is run to see if the automated Process delivers the required results. The Process can be continuously revised before it is finally carried out fully automatically in the Production phase.

With the integration of configurations and an Activity Library, you can easily and clearly adapt the processes to other circumstances.

The other modules of the X1 Server serve either to set up the prerequisites for operation of Process Automation, to involve human employees in implementation of a Process (User Tasks), or to monitor the results of automation using Dashboard or Alerting.
