Dashboard - Private Dashboard¶

In the Private view, you manage your own (private) dashboards.
You can create, monitor, change, copy, or publish dashboards.
Privileges for private dashboards¶
If you use the module-based licensing model, you need a separate license for the Dashboard module.
In order to see the Dashboard module, you must have the Dashboard Open privilege. To create or change dashboards, you also require the Dashboard Administration privilege.
List of all private dashboards¶

Data representation¶
The Private Dashboards are displayed in a list.
Columns of the private dashboards list¶
Name¶
Name of the private dashboard
Opening a dashboard
Click on the name to open the dashboard.
Description¶
Description of the private dashboard
Analysis Interval¶
Time period for which data is evaluated and displayed in the dashboard.
Refresh Rate¶
Time period, after which, the evaluation and view of a dashboard is refreshed.
Last Change¶
Time stamp of the last change to the dashboard
Action¶
Actions that can be carried out on the dashboard
Edit¶
Click on the Edit icon to change the name or the description of the dashboard.
To change the analysis interval or the refresh rate, follow the description Analysis Interval and Refresh Rate.
To change the widgets of a dashboard, follow the description Adding Widgets to a Dashboard.
Copy¶
Click on the Copy icon to copy all widgets and their settings to a new dashboard.
After you enter a name and a description, the new dashboard is opened immediately for processing.
Click on Save to save it after you have made adjustments.
Publish¶
Click on the button Publish to publish the dashboard.
After you enter a name and a description, a copy of the dashboard appears on a list of the Public Dashboards, which can be viewed and changed by all users.
You can still make changes to the dashboard before you save it.
The private and public dashboards are independent of each other after the copy operation. Changes to or deletions of one dashboard have no effect on the other dashboard.
Remove¶
Click on the button Remove to delete the dashboard.

To restore a dashboard that has been removed in error, simply click on the toast notification that is displayed in the top right corner of the view for a few seconds at the start of a deletion operation.
Creating a private dashboard¶

Click on the Create button to create a new private dashboard.
You can find more detailed information on creating and changing a dashboard in the next Chapter entitled Common Features.
Publishing a private dashboard¶
Each dashboard is created initially as a private dashboard. Private means that the dashboard can initially only be seen by the person who created it. If necessary, a private dashboard can be published. It then becomes a Public Dashboard and can be viewed and adjusted by all users.
Click on the Publish icon in the List of all private dashboards to publish a dashboard.
