Alerting - Alert Targets

Alerts are sent to Alert Targets. Alert Targets can be e-mail recipients (Email Targets) or executable programs (Executable Targets). The content of the notification can be a combination of Keywords and free text.

Create alert targets

Use the button Create to create new alert targets.

Email Targets

In the view Create an email target, enter all the required data.

To send e-mails, you must first set up an SMTP server in the module Administration > Server Settings.

Executable Targets

In the view Create an executable target, enter all the required data.

The executable program must be on the server on which the X1 Server is installed.

Keywords

You can insert keywords into the e-mail subject, the e-mail text, and the attributes of the executable program, and these are then filled with the relevant values.

Change and delete alert targets

You can change and delete the alert targets at any time by clicking on the relevant icons on the upper right of the target tile.
